About Stphen L. Egbert & Karen G. R. Roekard
Stephen L. Egbert, PhD, teaches remote sensing, GPS, and the geopolitics of genocide at the University of Kansas. He was a U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Silberman Scholar. Egbert’s most current research involves the application of geospatial tools to the creation of macrogenealogies at village and town scales. Rev/Reb Karen (Gitel Chaye Eta) Rosenfeld Roekard, MBA, independent scholar and award-winning author of The Santa Cruz Haggadah, is working on development of the analytic aspects of geospatial micro- and macrogenealogy and on further advancing its utility by integrating it with the capacities of spatial historians.
