About Avraham Sfadia
Avraham Sfadia, a retired Israel Defense Force colonel and a genealogist for 38 years, is the author of Tree’s Branches between Aram-Zova (Aleppo) and Safed in Israel. He researches the Dayan, Menaged and Sfadia families from Aleppo, and the Drenger and Goldflam families from Poland. A longtime member of the Israel Genealogical Society, he has lectured in Mexico City on the diaspora of Syrian Jews in Central and South America. Sfadia lives in Ramat Hasharon, Israel.
